It binds collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid which are essential for beautiful skin and no matter how great the beauty ingredients you use, if you lack silicon they can’t remain bound in the skin.
However, as we age, silicon levels decrease, so silicon deficiency is believed to be a cause of aging.
